The Significance of the Last Two Ayats. Surah Baqarah is a highly significant and complete Surah of the Quran. On the other hand, the last two a of the Baqarah have a unique significance. It was Narrated by Abu Masud Al-Badri: Allah’s Apostle said, it is sufficient for one to recite the last two Verses of Surat-al-Baqara at night.
The greater part of Al-Baqarah was revealed during the first two years of the Holy Prophet's life at Al-Madinah. The smaller part which was revealed at a later period has been included in this Surah because its contents are closely related to those dealt with in this Surah. For instance, the verses prohibiting interest were revealed during the

Sahih International. And when it is said to them, “Believe in what Allah has revealed,” they say, “We believe [only] in what was revealed to us.”.
